Pics of the Belly!!
Well here it is finally! A shot of the enormous belly.

All together i’ve only put on 8kg’s and am carrying all the weight out front - that explains the backache!!
Had a glucose test done at 28 weeks (a test for gestational diabetes- standard procedure for all pregnant ladies) where i had to drink 300ml of a very very sweet glucose drink and have a blood test an hour later - results were all normal but the poor baby was doing karate kicks all afternoon due to the sugar rush!
Ive also just discovered a place that does a 4D Ultrasound - where you can see the baby’s face and other features. The Technology is just amazing!
An example of a 4D Ultrasound pic is below:

You can clearly see the baby’s features and maybe get a clue as to who he or she looks like!! There is also a link on this page (http://sufw.com.au/?cid=1|1|6 ) where you can watch a video clip of an ultrasound in motion. Its very cute. You can see the baby sucking its thumb and moving its face and hands.
Im planning on getting a referral from my GP and getting one of these done. It costs a little extra but its SO worth it!
Will keep you posted on the results!
Apart from that theres not much else to report except the swollen hands, and my feet tend to swell at the end of the day. Plus i think the nesting/maternal thing has kicked in - i was up cleaning and making carrot cake at 11pm a few nights ago!
We still have some room decorating to do and must get a wardrobe installed.
I have 3 more weeks of work to go (feels like an eternity) and 9 weeks in total till the baby arrives (whats longer than eternity?!)! But everyone tells me these weeks will fly by…
Well, thats all for now. Will let you know how the 4D Ultrasound goes!
